Profenofos 40% cypermethrin 4% EC” is a broad-spectrum insecticide that combines two active ingredients, profenofos and cypermethrin, to control a wide range of chewing and sucking pests on various crops. This dual-action formula works through stomach and contact action, providing a quick knockdown and long-lasting effect to protect crops like cotton, vegetables, and fruits

How It Works

Dual-action formula: The combination of profenofos and cypermethrin provides both systemic and contact action.
** Translaminar action**: It can penetrate deep into the leaves, affecting pests on both the upper and lower surfaces.
Nervous system disruption: The insecticide works by disrupting the nervous system of pests, leading to paralysis and death.
Pest control: It is effective against various pests, including bollworms, thrips, aphids, and jassids

Application: The product should be diluted with water and sprayed uniformly, ensuring that the lower surfaces of leaves are also covered.
Timing: The first application should be done as soon as insects appear. A second spray may be needed 10 to 15 days later.
Rain protection: After spraying, protect the crops from rain for at least 6 hours to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Safety: When spraying, avoid eating, drinking, or smoking, and wash thoroughly after use.
Adverse effects: Antidotes like Atropine Sulphate may be administered intravenously in case of poisoning
